1/ Bristol, a city of approximately half a million inhabitants in the West of England, is famous for two reasons. 2/  First of all, Bristol has an historic harbour in the centre.  3/ The harbour has been restored and has many cafes, bars and restaurants.  4/ It also has an important complex of art galleries, cinemas and offices.  5/  Another famous feature of Bristol is the bridge that crosses the Avon Gorge.  6/  It was the first suspension bridge built anywhere in the world. 7/   In conclusion, Bristol is famous not only for its history, but for its modern, cosmopolitan atmosphere.
